Questions
- Where should I stay in Lofoten to see the northern lights?
- Location matters less than a dark, clear sky, because all of Lofoten lies under the auroral oval. Visit Lofoten says it does not really matter where you go; being away from town lights helps. Beaches on the northern coast, such as Uttakleiv and Haukland near Leknes, are commonly used viewing spots.
