Sakrisøy

Sakrisøy is a small island by Reinefjorden, between Reine and Hamnøy in Moskenes municipality, at the foot of the mountain Olstind. The E10 runs through the island. Store norske leksikon names Sakrisøy among the attractions along the National Tourist Route Lofoten, which follows the E10 to Å.

What is there Rorbuer on the island are run by the Gylseth family, who say they have harvested and prepared seafood and hosted travellers here for almost 130 years and date their rorbuer to 1874. The family also runs Anitas Sjømat, a seafood shop and bar selling the island's own products alongside food from elsewhere in Lofoten, including smoked fish, stockfish and fish burgers. Sakrisøy Gjestegård, a guest house, occupies a house built in 1880.

Getting here and nearby Visit Lofoten's travel advice for Reine and Hamnøy, on either side, is to take the Bodø–Moskenes ferry and continue by bus, or to fly to Leknes or Svolvær and take the bus west. Reine, to the south, has the Lofotodden National Park visitor centre, the start of the Reinebringen trail and boats across Reinefjorden to Vindstad for Bunes beach. Hamnøy lies to the north.
