The house has been in the Gylseth family for five generations, and the current owner has restored the interiors and gardens to their classic style since taking over in 2008. Rooms range from standard doubles with shared bathrooms to superior rooms with heated bathroom floors, and several have large sea-view windows. Anita's Seafood is around the corner.

The guesthouse presents its shared-bathroom rooms as a budget choice and its triple rooms as suited to a family of three. A workshop room for up to 16 people is offered to organised groups, including photo workshops.

Standard rooms share a hallway bathroom. Meals are taken at nearby restaurants, whose opening hours differ between summer and winter. Free parking is 70 metres from the house.

14 rooms with double or twin beds: standard rooms with shared bathrooms (some with fridge and kitchenette), superior and deluxe rooms with private bathrooms, triple rooms, and the third-floor Olstind Mountain Suite with king bed, kitchenette and private terrace.

The guesthouse points guests to nearby places for lunch and dinner, including Anita's Seafood around the corner; a breakfast buffet can be arranged for groups using the workshop room.
