Hotels in Lofoten

Lofoten's hotels range from town hotels in Svolvær and Leknes to smaller hotels in fishing villages such as Henningsvær, Stamsund and Sørvågen.

Svolvær, Lofoten's largest town, has the largest selection of accommodation in the islands, and Visit Lofoten's Svolvær listings include a number of hotels. Store norske leksikon notes that Henningsvær has several hotels alongside its rorbu complexes. Leknes, the service centre for west Lofoten, has hotels among its services, and Stamsund, where Hurtigruten calls, has a hotel. In Sørvågen on Moskenesøya, some properties combine a hotel with rorbuer.

Visit Lofoten notes that several Lofoten hotels stand at the edge of the quay, that some have saunas, swimming pools and fitness rooms, and that many are linked to restaurants. Several also have meeting rooms. For travellers without a car, Svolvær and Leknes are closest to the airports and on the main bus route through the islands.
