Why stay here

The cabins stand right on the waterfront in Sørvågen looking over the harbour, near the fish reception centre, and some cabins along the quay are still used by professional fishermen. Cabin sizes run from doubles to a two-floor suite for 12. The Tide also runs RIB trips to the Moskstraumen maelstrom and fishing trips.

Things to consider

The Tide lets cabins at several locations on Moskenesøya, so confirm which one you are booking. Cabins have their own designated parking – ask reception. Breakfast is listed as included for hotel rooms; the cabin descriptions do not mention it. The Booking.com listing given is for the cabins; the hotel rooms are booked separately.

The accommodation

Standard and superior cabins for two or four, superior cabins for four to six and for eight, and a two-floor deluxe suite for 12 with two living rooms, two bathrooms and six bedrooms. All cabins have a fully equipped kitchen, living room and shower, with bed linen and final cleaning included. The hotel has ten double rooms (standard, superior and family) with breakfast.
