Little else at this end of Moskenesøya puts a restaurant, a bar, a shop and a harbour of working boats within a few steps of the bed. The spread is unusual too — a 10 m² room with a shared bathroom and a 300 m² suite for twelve are sold from the same reception, and the trips leave from the property. 734 guests have scored it 8.6 out of 10.

Couples in a double room, groups of up to twelve in the suite, and anyone who would rather eat where they sleep than drive for dinner. Children of any age are accepted and there are family rooms and children's meals, but no cot or extra bed can be added and nobody under 18 can check in.

The cabins are not at the reception. The fine print puts them around the harbour, 700 metres off and about two minutes by car, while the property's own site says its cabins stand in several places on Moskenesøya, so settle which one you are booking. Check-in is given as 16:00 to 23:00 in the house rules, but an answer from the property says it starts at 15:00 — assume the later time and ask. Concerts are put on at the property some summer weekends. Nobody under 18 can check in, no cot or extra bed is available, pets are taken only on request and may cost extra, and booking more than two rooms can bring different terms. The property does not collect guests from the ferry, though it says taxis will for a fee.

Nine units are sold on Booking.com. Rooms: Double or Twin Room with Shared Bathroom, 10 m², two beds; Double Room with Private External Bathroom, 12 m². Cottages: Cottage with Sea View and Superior Cottage (2 Adults) with Habor view, both 30 m²; Two-Bedroom Cottage and Two-Bedroom Cottage with Sea View, both 55 m² for four; Superior Cottage (6 Adults) with Sea View, 60 m²; Superior Cottage (8 Adults) with Sea View, 100 m²; and the Deluxe Suite with Sea View, 300 m² for twelve. The bedrooms recorded each hold one double bed, four of them with a bathroom off the room. The property's own site describes the largest suite as two floors with two living rooms, two bathrooms and six bedrooms, and says bed linen and the final clean are included.

WiFi and parking are both free. Cabins have a kitchen with a fridge, a dishwasher, an oven, a hob, a microwave, a toaster, an electric kettle and kitchenware, plus a dining table, a washing machine and a drying rack; balconies, patios and terraces carry outdoor furniture. Rooms have heating, soundproofing, hardwood or parquet floors, a hairdryer, towels and linen. Some bathrooms are private, some shared. Beyond the rooms there is a restaurant, a bar, room service, a shared lounge, a minimarket, a coffee house and family rooms, and the property will help arrange activities.

Havet Restaurant & Bar sits next to the hotel and serves local dishes; the bar is fully licensed and shows sport, and room service, wine and champagne, children's meals and a snack bar are listed. Breakfast is among the facilities Booking.com marks as popular here. The cabins have kitchens of their own, and a grocery store is 100 metres away.

Besselvågveien 8A in Sørvågen, Moskenes municipality, at the western end of Moskenesøya. Kartverket's registered settlement name is Sørvågen, 182 m off, and the point this guide uses for Sørvågen is 200 m away. Booking.com records the setting as rural, and the cabins stand around the harbour with sea and mountain views.

The listing names a grocery store 100 metres away and puts the cottages 700 metres away from reception, about two minutes by car. Parking on site is free. Asked about reaching the Bodø ferry, the property points to a local taxi service and says buses run; asked to collect guests from the ferry, it says it does not, but that taxis will for a fee.
