The Tide

The cabins stand right on the waterfront in Sørvågen looking over the harbour, near the fish reception centre, and some cabins along the quay are still used by professional fishermen. Cabin sizes run from doubles to a two-floor suite for 12. The Tide also runs RIB trips to the Moskstraumen maelstrom and fishing trips.

Cabin sizes cover couples through to groups of up to 12. The hotel's family rooms are set up for two adults and two children and adapted for guests with physical disabilities.

The Tide lets cabins at several locations on Moskenesøya, so confirm which one you are booking. Cabins have their own designated parking – ask reception. Standard and superior cabins for two or four, superior cabins for four to six and for eight, and a two-floor deluxe suite for 12 with two living rooms, two bathrooms and six bedrooms. All cabins have a fully equipped kitchen, living room and shower, with bed linen and final cleaning included. The hotel has ten double rooms (standard, superior and family) with breakfast.

Havet Restaurant & Bar, next to The Tide, serves fine dining in an informal setting and has a separate bar.
