A cabin of your own on an island the E10 runs through, with the Reinefjord on one side and the harbour on the other, and a kitchenette that means you are not dependent on restaurant hours in a village where they are seasonal.

Couples and pairs, since seven of the nine grades take two. Four people can be housed in the superior sea-view cabin. Family rooms and a high chair are listed, so young children fit, but there are no cots and no extra beds, and the price of a third body cannot be worked around.

Cash is not taken — cards only. Check-in runs from 15:00 to 23:00 but the business says its hours shift with the season, so tell it when you will arrive. Quiet hours run from 23:00 until 08:00, check-in is limited to guests of 18 or over, and booking more than two rooms brings different terms and extra charges. There are no cots and no extra beds, pets are not accepted, and upper floors in some units are reached by stairs only. Breakfast is not served; the business points guests to the kitchens in the cabins.

Nine bookable grades. A budget studio of 20 m² and a standard studio of 20 m² with a partial sea view, both for two; a superior studio of 25 m² with a sea view and a one-bedroom cabin of 30 m² without one, for two; a deluxe studio of 40 m² with a sea view, a one-bedroom house of 40 m² without one, and traditional cabins of 40 m² with a sea view and balcony, all for two; and a superior cabin with a sea view of 40 m² for four, which takes up to three children. Bedrooms on the listing hold a double bed each. Units have a private bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer, towels and linen, a kitchenette with fridge, oven, stovetop, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and kitchenware, a seating area, a sofa and a dining table; a fireplace, a balcony or a terrace appear in some. Family rooms and a children's high chair are listed, and a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine are recorded among the facilities.

Booking.com records that upper floors are reached by stairs only. No wheelchair-accessible unit is listed.

Free WiFi and free parking on the island, heating, a private entrance, hardwood or parquet floors, a socket by the bed, a radio and a tea and coffee maker in the rooms. A washing machine and a dishwasher are listed. Upper floors in some units are reached by stairs only, and everything is non-smoking.

No breakfast: asked directly, the business said it is not included and pointed to the fully equipped kitchens in the cabins. Underhuset and Anitas Seafood are on the same island, with seasonal hours of their own, and more places to eat lie a short drive away.

Sakrisøya 2, on the island of Sakrisøy in Moskenes municipality, which the E10 crosses between Hamnøy and Reine. Kartverket's nearest registered settlement is Reine, about 1.3 km away. The guide's centre point for Sakrisøy sits on the property itself, with the harbour on one side and the fjord towards Olstind on the other.

Asked which way is easier, the business said the Moskenes ferry is about ten minutes away by car against roughly an hour from Leknes Airport, which its listing puts at about 50 km by road. The local bus calls at its reception on Sakrisøy, and it refers guests to Reis Nordland for times.
