Hov Gjestehus

The house belongs to a farm run by the same family for seven generations, with about 48 Icelandic horses offering rides on the beach and in the mountains. Låven, the farm's restaurant in a converted barn, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, and a wood-fired sauna stands on the shoreline. Every room has a view of the sea or the mountains.

The guesthouse can be booked for groups of up to twelve, and riders on the farm's horse-riding holidays are an obvious fit. Visit Lofoten puts the Hov Gård campsite 600–700 m from the Lofoten Links golf course.

The house has three bathrooms for its six rooms, so not every room has its own. The farm also runs a campsite just above the beach.
