Surfers, road-trippers and anyone who would rather be among people than alone in a house: this is a busy site with a bar on it, not a retreat. The 30 m² family room with its own bathroom suits a family of three; the two twins, at 10 m² and 7 m², are for people who mean to be outdoors all day. Pets are not accepted, so dogs are out.

Three road names attach to the camp. Its own site gives Kjerkveien 45, 8380 Ramberg; the Booking.com listing prints 164 E10; and OpenStreetMap maps the campsite on Flakstadveien, at Øverleitet in Ramberg. The three pins sit within 120 metres of each other, so this is a naming problem rather than a location one — but put the coordinates in the satnav rather than a street name. The rooms are small — two of the three grades are 7 m² and 10 m² — and the bathroom arrangement varies by grade: a private bathroom and a shared bathroom and toilet both appear in the facility list, with only the family room named as having its own. No cot or extra bed is available, and pets are not accepted. Check-in runs from 15:00 to 21:00 and check-out from 07:00 to 11:00; the camp asks to be told your arrival time in advance. Quiet hours are 23:00 to 08:00 and parties are not allowed. The camp's own site publishes no opening season, no room count and no check-in times, so anything outside the Booking.com terms has to be asked. The camp says its north-facing beach and absence of light pollution make it a good place to watch for the aurora in winter; whether the lights appear depends on darkness, cloud cover and solar activity, and no property can promise them.

Three grades are bookable through Booking.com: a Family Room with Bathroom of 30 m² for three, a Twin Room of 10 m² for two, and a Small Twin Room of 7 m² for two. Booking.com publishes no bed list for any of them. Units are on the ground floor and have a private entrance, a seating area, a kitchenette with a fridge, a microwave, a dishwasher, a hob, a kettle and kitchenware, a dining table, linen and towels, and soundproofing. A private bathroom and a shared bathroom and toilet both appear in the facility list; only the family room is named as having its own. A shared kitchen serves the site. The camp confirmed on Booking.com that linen and towels come with the room or cabin price, and that the cabin's bathroom is inside the cabin at no extra charge. Camping pitches and winter camping are offered alongside the rooms, and are arranged through the camp's own site.

The camp's own site gives the address as Kjerkveien 45, 8380 Ramberg; Booking.com's listing prints it as 164 E10, 8380 Ramberg. OpenStreetMap places the campsite on Flakstadveien at Øverleitet in Ramberg, agreeing with Kartverket, whose nearest registered settlement name is the grend Øverleitet, about 2 km away; and this guide's centre point for Ramberg is 3.1 km off in a straight line. Booking.com records a beach area of its own, puts Skagsanden beach 200 metres away and calls the setting rural.

Booking.com gives Skagsanden beach as 200 metres away and Nusfjord as 13 km. Free parking is on site, an electric car can be charged there, and the camp can arrange bicycle hire. OpenStreetMap maps a bus stop named for the camp on Flakstadveien, beside the site. The published street names differ — Kjerkveien 45 on the camp's own site, 164 E10 on the Booking.com listing, Flakstadveien on OpenStreetMap — so navigate by the coordinates rather than by a street name.
