A large beachside campsite at Flakstad beach near Ramberg with five rooms in a Beach House and one small cabin, plus a surf school, beach bar and two saunas.

Why stay here

The surf school, board and SUP rental are on site, a short walk from the rooms. The Beach House rooms share a new kitchen with sea and mountain views, and the beach sauna sits beside the bar. The camp is a practical base for Ryten, Kvalvika and the western villages.

Surfers, campers and budget travellers who are comfortable on a busy, social site. Dogs are welcome on the campsite but not in the rooms or cabin.

Things to consider

Rooms are open from 5 January to 15 December and the campsite from 1 February to 1 November. Beach House rooms share bathrooms, and in peak season the camp can be crowded, with queues for showers. Sauna sessions are booked and paid separately.

The accommodation

The Beach House has five rooms (two small, three mid-size), each with two single beds that can be pushed together, sharing bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The Beach Cabin has a double and a single bed, kitchen and bathroom. Pitches for tents, vans, caravans and motorhomes are drop-in only.

Two saunas heated 10:00–22:00, 17 bathrooms and 16 showers, laundry, EV chargers in the car park, surf school, SUP, kayak and bike rental, beach volleyball. Free Wi-Fi.

Lofoten Beach Bar serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with indoor and outdoor seating.
