Hattvika Lodge

Sixteen rorbu units date from the 1870s and have been rebuilt with heated bathroom floors and full kitchens. Ten Hillside rooms, finished in 2020, stand on the hill above the harbour with large windows and small balconies. The lodge runs its own guided kayaking, hiking, photo and ski-touring trips.

Couples, who the lodge markets romantic stays to, and active travellers who want guided trips from the door. It also hosts corporate groups.

Restaurant Fangst serves a tasting menu at 19:00 on set opening days, so check its calendar and book ahead. Hillside rooms have a coffee station and small fridge but no kitchen.

Sixteen fisherman's cottage (rorbu) units with modern bathrooms, heated tile floors and fully equipped kitchens, in Seafront and Seaside categories plus The Villa and Kjeøya. Hattvika Hillside has ten studio rooms with bathroom, entrance hall, coffee/tea station, small fridge and balcony.

Sauna, hot tub, electric vehicle charging, meeting room and private rooftop terrace. Guided sea kayaking, hiking, SUP, photo tours and winter ski touring.

Restaurant Fangst seats up to 75 and serves a seasonal, seafood-led tasting menu in a modern bistro style.
