Four bedrooms a couple of minutes from Ballstad harbour, with a balcony over the water, laundry, a gym and a shop on site.

A group of six or seven, or two families, who want to be in a working village rather than outside one. Children of six and over pay the adult rate and there are no cots, so it leans towards older families.

One bathroom serves up to seven guests, and upper floors are reached by stairs only. Check-in is late — 18:00 to 23:30, with your arrival time sent ahead — and check-out is between 07:00 and 12:00. Quiet hours start at 21:00 and run to 08:00, earlier than most. No cot or extra bed can be added, and children of six and over are charged as adults. Pets are not accepted and the cabin is not let to hen or stag groups.

One rorbu of 80 m², listed as a Four-Bedroom House with five beds and a maximum of seven guests: a double and a single in the first bedroom, a double in the second, a single in the third and a sofa bed in the fourth. One private bathroom with a bath or shower. A fold-up bed is among the facilities. Booking.com shows the cabin at four tiles.

Upper floors are reached by stairs only.

Fitness centre and minimarket on the premises. Heating, private entrance, parquet floors, air purifiers, an iron, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a dishwasher and a drying rack — host answers confirm the washer and dryer. A flat TV with cable channels. Outside there is a balcony, a patio, a terrace, garden furniture, an outdoor dining area and barbecue facilities, with sea, mountain and harbour views. WiFi and parking are free and the cabin is non-smoking.

Self-catering. The kitchen holds an oven, a hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge, a kettle, a coffee machine, kitchenware and cleaning products, with a dining table and a dining area, and there are barbecue facilities outside. A minimarket on site covers basics; no meals are served.

Øyaveien at Ballstad, in Vestvågøy. Kartverket places the cabin inside the Ballstad built-up area, roughly 200 metres from its centre in a straight line, on the harbour side with the quays and mountains in view.

Booking.com gives Leknes Airport as 10 km from the cabin, Vestvågøy Rådhus as 10 km, Lofotenmat Sa as 7.9 km and Nusfjord as 33 km. Free parking is on site and car hire can be arranged through the property.
