Lofoten Basecamp

The cabins sit by the sea with mountain views and hiking trails close by. The location is about an hour from both Svolvær and Reine, so it works as a central base. Units have their own entrances and many have full kitchens and terraces.

Self-catering families, groups of friends and people travelling with pets. The ocean-view cabins are described as suited to families and groups.

There is no breakfast or other meal service, so plan to cook or drive to Leknes to eat. Reception hours vary by season, and check-in is self-service. It is about 10 minutes from Leknes by car.

A mix of modern seaside cabins, traditional fishermen's cabins by the waterfront and private rooms (standard and superior), plus a unit called Doma Bua. Ocean-view cabins have a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and oven, two bathrooms and a large terrace; some units have a washing machine.

Sauna bookable in advance, fire pit and grill, electric car charging, free parking and Wi-Fi. Smoke-free property.

No restaurant or breakfast on site; most units are equipped for self-catering.

At Skreda on Offersøya, Vestvågøy, about 10 minutes from Leknes (the nearest listed destination) and roughly an hour's drive from Svolvær and Reine.
