Saunas, the hot tub and boat hire are all extras, priced by the property rather than included. Each cabin and apartment has a single bathroom, so a party of six sharing a cabin will be queuing; the villa is the exception, with four. Upper floors in some units are reached by stairs only. The property says the deluxe studio's terrace is private but has no gate, so passers-by can walk on to it. Kartverket's nearest registered locality is Reine, about 2.7 km away, and the guide measures 0.3 km in a straight line to Hamnøy, the place it covers. Sea and mountain outlooks are recorded from the units, and the bus stop on the road is 50 metres from the entrance.

The property says the bus stop, called Hamnøy, is 50 metres from its entrance by the road, which makes this one of the few places in this group reachable without a car. Booking.com gives Leknes Airport as 53 km away. Boat hire is booked at reception rather than in advance.
