Rorbu i Lofoten

Four double bedrooms in one rorbu, a beach 200 metres off and Leknes airport about seven kilometres away, with arrivals accepted up to midnight.

Four couples, or a family group of up to eight, sharing a car or two. A free cot is available for the under-threes and there is a high chair. One bathroom between eight is the thing to weigh.

One bathroom serves up to eight people, and upper floors are reached by stairs only. Check-in runs from 16:00 to midnight with your arrival time sent ahead, and check-out is between 05:00 and 11:00. Nobody under 18 can check in. No extra bed can be added, though a cot can be requested free for children up to three. Pets are not accepted and the rorbu is not let to hen or stag groups.

Offersøya, a hamlet on the coast of Vestvågøy south of Leknes as Kartverket names it, though Booking.com files the address under Leknes. Leknes, the nearest destination this guide covers, is about 4 km away in a straight line, and the listing puts Offersøya Beach 200 metres off.

Booking.com gives Leknes Airport as 7 km from the rorbu and Lofotenmat Sa as 5.5 km. A host answer puts the drive from Leknes at about eight minutes. Free private parking is on site.
