Why stay here

The four older cabins sit directly above the dock where the camp's boats are moored, looking over the Nappstraumen strait. Everything for a fishing holiday is on site: rental boats, rods and flotation suits, a tackle shop, a filleting area and a freezer room. Leknes, with Lofoten's largest shopping centre, is about 10 minutes away.

Who it’s for

Anglers and fishing groups, from beginners to experienced sea anglers. The larger lodge and villa suit groups of eight or nine.

Things to consider

The camp is built around fishing packages and says many bookings arrive a year or more ahead. One of the six-person cabins is on Lilleide, about three minutes by boat across the strait. Bedding, towels and final cleaning are included.

The accommodation

Bergensbua, Signarbua, Draugen and Frøya: older-style rorbuer with a living room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms for four. Hildurbua and Nappstraumen Seafront Cabin: newer three-bedroom cabins for six. Lofoten Rorbu Lodge: four bedrooms for eight with a large terrace. Lofoten Seaview Villa: a 150 m² cabin with four bedrooms and up to nine beds.
