Two people, or a couple with a child on the sofa bed, who want laundry and a kitchen in the middle of Vestvågøy rather than a view. Drivers are covered by free private parking, and a late arrival has until 23:00.

Stairs are the only way to the upper floors. Booking.com records no cot at the property, though an extra bed may be possible depending on the option you book. Dogs are taken only by arrangement. Check-in closes at 23:00 and the arrival time is wanted in advance. The flat is non-smoking and hen and stag parties are ruled out. One oddity: Booking.com's own text places Leknes Airport within a few steps of the door, which does not fit an address on Storgata, so check that distance yourself if it matters.

The bathroom has a shower, towels, a hairdryer and toilet paper, and the flat is described as a private apartment inside a building.

Upper floors are reached by stairs only, according to Booking.com's facility list.

The kitchen holds an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee machine and kitchenware; a washing machine and tumble dryer are in the flat, with a dining table, sofa, wardrobe, heating, hairdryer and a flat-screen TV carrying cable and streaming channels. There is a balcony, a patio and a terrace with outdoor furniture, a fireplace, a private entrance and a minimarket on the premises. The flat is listed as soundproofed, allergy-free and non-smoking.

Self-catering. The kitchen is equipped for cooking and Booking.com records a minimarket on the premises. No breakfast, restaurant or bar is offered.

Storgata 78 in Leknes, Vestvågøy municipality. Kartverket's nearest registered name is the hamlet of Moneset, 1.2 km off, but the flat stands in the town itself, about 200 metres in a straight line from the centre point this guide uses for Leknes, with the municipal offices 400 metres away.

Booking.com puts the Vestvågøy municipal offices 400 metres away, Lofotenmat at 3.6 km, Borga radar station at 25 km and Nusfjord at 28 km. Parking on site is free.
