Nappstraumen Seafront Cabin

A whole cabin on the Nappstraumen shore with a fireplace, a sun terrace and a barbecue, five minutes from Leknes airport but out of the town.

A family or a group of up to six who want single beds rather than doubles, a kitchen and a car. The owner confirms bed linen and towels are supplied. There are no cots or extra beds and pets cannot come.

One bathroom serves up to six people, and upper floors are reached by stairs only. Check-in runs from 15:00 to midnight and check-out from 06:00 to 12:00, which is unusually wide at both ends. No cots and no extra beds are available. Pets cannot stay and the cabin is non-smoking. Only four guests have reviewed it, so the 9.5 out of 10 comes from a very small sample. Booking.com takes payment, and the listing advises carrying cash for anything bought on arrival.

One cabin of 72 m², listed as an Apartment with Sea View and five beds. Two bedrooms have two single beds each and the third has a bunk bed, with Booking.com allowing two guests in each, up to six. One bathroom with a shower. A living room with a fireplace and a kitchenette are listed alongside the main kitchen. The owner refers to the building as a rorbu.

Upper floors are reached by stairs only.

Self-catering. The kitchen holds an oven, a hob, a dishwasher, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster and kitchenware, with a dining table and a kitchenette also listed. No meals are served.

Lilleeid 77, in the 8370 Leknes postcode area on the west side of Vestvågøy facing Nappstraumen, the strait towards Flakstadøya. Kartverket names the nearest settlement as Haug, about 500 m away, in Vestvågøy municipality. Leknes itself is about 3.2 km off in a straight line.
