A chalet with three separate bedrooms and five beds within a few minutes of Haukland, at a size and a price bracket below the large houses further down the coast. The fireplace and the terrace do the work here; the road is the same one the better-known cabins in the area use.

A family or a group of five who want to be close to the beaches on Vestvågøy's west side. Two of the three rooms hold single beds, so it suits parents with older children more than three couples. Anyone planning to cook every night should check the kitchen equipment first — see below.

The kitchen is the thing to query. Booking.com's facilities list records a kitchen and kitchenware but itemises no fridge, oven, hob or dishwasher, where comparable listings on the same road name all four; the description says only that the kitchen comes with kitchenware. No television appears on the list either. Ask the property what is actually fitted before you plan a week of cooking. Departure is between 00:00 and 10:00, an early deadline, and arrival is from 17:00 to 23:30 with your time wanted in advance. No cot and no extra bed can be added, and from the age of four a child is charged at the adult rate. Pets are refused, the chalet is non-smoking, and upper floors are reached by stairs only.

One detached chalet of 65 m², let whole. Three bedrooms: a large double in the first and two single beds in each of the other two — five beds in total, with a published maximum of seven guests. One bathroom whose shower is a walk-in, with a private toilet, a hairdryer, towels and toilet paper. A living room with a fireplace, a sofa and a seating area. Bed linen is supplied, floors are tile or marble and hardwood or parquet, and there are a clothes rack and a drying rack.

Upper floors are reached by stairs only.

Free WiFi and free parking on site, heating and a private entrance. A washing machine, an iron and ironing facilities, and cleaning products. The kitchen is listed with kitchenware; no fridge, oven, hob or dishwasher is itemised. Outside there are a patio, a terrace and a picnic area, with sea, garden, mountain and landmark views. The chalet is non-smoking and family rooms are listed.

Vågaveien 36 at Offersøya, on the west side of Vestvågøy; Kartverket's nearest registered settlement is Vik, about 1.8 km off, and the municipality is Vestvågøy. The setting is rural, with sea, garden, mountain and landmark views, and Hauklandstranda given as 2.5 km away. Leknes, the nearest place this guide covers, is 5.3 km off in a straight line.

Booking.com gives Leknes Airport as 11 km from the chalet, Vestvågøy Rådhus as 11 km, Lofotenmat Sa as 10 km, Hauklandstranda Beach as 2.5 km and Borga Radarstasjon as 28 km. No bus route is stated.
