Holiday home in Offersøya, near Leknes

The layout is the thing to understand here. Booking.com lists one bedroom holding three beds — a double and two large doubles — with a maximum of six people, so a party of six shares a single room rather than spreading through a house. For a family or a group of friends who do not mind that, it is six places at one address within a few steps of Offersøya Beach.

The house is air-conditioned as well as heated, with a kitchen the listing calls fully equipped, one bathroom, a washing machine and a flat-screen TV. A balcony and a terrace look over the garden, and free private parking sits on the plot. Leknes Airport is given as 7 km.

Despite the name, the facilities list records garden views rather than sea views, so the outlook from the windows is worth checking with the property before booking on that basis. Arrivals start at 16:00 and the house is left by 11:00.
