Apartment in Storeid, near Leknes

The listing has no real name — what Booking.com carries is an advertisement, 'Limited Opening Offer'. Behind it is a 58 m² apartment on the first floor at Storeidmyra 23, with its own entrance.

What is inside is less clear than it should be. Booking.com sells the unit as a Two-Bedroom Apartment for four people, while its own description says one bedroom, and the only bed it lists anywhere is a single bunk bed. Take the sleeping arrangements up with the property before you book for a family.

What is not in doubt: a kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, hob, refrigerator, kettle and kitchenware, a washing machine, a dining table, a desk, a sofa and a seating area, air conditioning and heating, free WiFi and free parking outside. Garden and mountain views are recorded, and board games are provided.

Why stay here

Leknes Airport is given as 1 km away and Vestvågøy Rådhus as 1.4 km, which makes this one of the shortest airport transfers in the guide — useful on a late arrival or an early departure. Pets are accepted here, which not every self-catering listing near Leknes allows.

Who it’s for

A couple or a small family flying into Leknes who want a kitchen, a washing machine and a car parked outside. Anyone travelling with a dog should note that the listing takes pets. Settle how many beds there actually are before booking for four.

Highlights

  • 58 m² apartment with a private entrance on the first floor
  • Kitchen with dishwasher, oven and hob; washing machine; dining table and desk
  • Air conditioning and heating; with private parking and WiFi at no cost

  • Leknes Airport given as 1 km away, Vestvågøy Rådhus as 1.4 km

Things to consider

The bedroom count is contradictory: Booking.com's room name says two bedrooms, its description says one, and the bed list holds a single bunk bed against a stated occupancy of four. Get that settled in writing before booking. The listing records a shower and toilet but does not say whether the bathroom is private, and the same building carries a second listing whose rooms share a bathroom, so ask. Check-in is 16:00–23:00 with advance notice of your arrival time; check-out is 08:00–11:00. Children aged six and over are charged as adults and no extra bed can be added. No guest score has been posted yet.

The accommodation

One unit of 58 m² with a private entrance, described by Booking.com as a private apartment within a building. Its room name is Two-Bedroom Apartment and its stated occupancy is four, but the description gives one bedroom and the bed list a single bunk bed. A shower, toilet, towels and linen are provided, along with a seating area, a sofa, a desk and a dining table.
