Last verified 16 September 2026

Apartment in Innerfjorden, near Ramberg

Skjelfjord sits on the southern shore of Flakstadøya, off the E10 and away from the through traffic. This is a 45 m² apartment within a building there, entered by its own door, with two bedrooms and a sea view.

The bed arrangement is worth knowing before you book: each bedroom holds two single beds, four in all, and there is no double in the apartment. The kitchen is the strong point — a dishwasher, an oven, a hob, a microwave, a kettle and kitchenware, with a dining table — and the apartment has both a washing machine and a tumble dryer, along with a drying rack and a clothes rack. Booking.com lists a toilet and a bath or shower, free toiletries, a hairdryer, towels and linen.

Outside there is a garden and free private parking; sea, lake and mountain views are recorded. Booking.com gives the apartment three stars, and 33 guests have scored it 7.3 out of 10.

Why stay here

Two bedrooms, a proper kitchen and a washer and dryer in one 45 m² apartment on the Skjelfjord shore, at a quiet address with its own entrance and free parking. Nusfjord is 20 km off by the listing's reckoning.

Who it’s for

Four people who are happy in single beds — two friends sharing with two more, or a family with older children. Cots are available, subject to the option booked, but no extra bed can be had, so a fifth person cannot be added. Couples should note there is no double bed at all.

Things to consider

Both bedrooms are twin rooms: four single beds and no double. No extra bed can be had, so the party cannot grow beyond four, although a cot may be available depending on the option you book. Check-in starts at 15:00 with no closing time published, and the property asks to know your arrival time in advance; check-out is by 11:00. Pets are not accepted and the apartment is non-smoking. Booking.com lists a toilet and a shower but does not say in so many words that the bathroom is private, so confirm that if it matters. The listing's own title names Kvalvika Beach and Ryten, but it gives no distance to either; both are reached from the Fredvang side, not from Skjelfjord.
