Space and a beach in the same booking: 120 m² for four people, a sea-facing balcony, a washing machine and a tumble dryer, and Ramberg's sand a few hundred metres away, with Nusfjord given as 15 km and the Flakstad church and campsite along the same road.

A family of four or two couples who want room rather than a compact cabin, and who will use the beach and the coast road. The bed mix — one extra-large double and two singles — suits a couple with older children better than two couples. Pets are not taken and no cot can be added.

Three bedrooms but only four places and three beds, so a party of five or six will not fit. Arrival is between 16:00 and 21:00 with your time sent ahead, and check-out is by 11:00. A refundable NOK 3,000 damage deposit is taken by credit card on arrival and returned within a week of leaving. Pets are not allowed, no cot or extra bed can be added, and quiet is asked for between 23:00 and 07:00. The 9.3 score rests on three reviews, too few to read much into.

Three bedrooms: an extra-large double bed in the first and a single bed in each of the other two, three beds in all, with a whole-property maximum of four. One bathroom with a bath, a shower, a toilet, towels and a hairdryer. Bed linen and towels are provided and the house is non-smoking.

Heating, a flat-screen TV and a sofa indoors, with a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a dishwasher. A balcony carries the sea view, and the listing records garden and mountain views as well. WiFi and private parking on the site are free, and the entrance is the house's own.

Self-catering. The kitchen holds an oven, a hob, a dishwasher, a microwave, a fridge, an electric kettle, a coffee machine, a tea and coffee maker and kitchenware, with a dining table. Booking.com lists no breakfast, restaurant or bar at the house; Ramberg village has a shop and places to eat.

Flakstadveien 312 at Ramberg, in Flakstad municipality on the north coast of Flakstadøya. Booking.com records the property as beachfront and gives Ramberg Beach as 400 m away; Kartverket's registered point for Ramberg is about 1 km from the house, which is 1 km from the village in a straight line.

Booking.com gives Nusfjord as 15 km from the house, Lofotenmat Sa as 28 km, Vestvågøy Rådhus as 30 km and Leknes Airport as 30 km. Free private parking is on the site, and Flakstadveien runs off the E10 through Ramberg.
