A sauna and an outdoor fire in a house you have entirely to yourselves, a kilometre or so from Reine harbour, with parking at the door and everything on one level.

A couple or a small family with a car who want to cook for themselves and have the run of a whole house. Late arrivals are catered for; early ones are not, since the door does not open until 18:00, and there are no cots.

Check-in is a window of 18:00 to 23:30 and the property wants your arrival time beforehand; check-out is by 11:00. Nobody under 18 can check in. Quiet hours run from midnight to 07:00, smoking is not allowed and the house is not let to hen or stag groups. No cot is available, and children of 12 and over are charged the adult rate. Pets are not accepted. One bathroom serves the whole house, and Booking.com publishes a maximum of four guests.

One detached house of 50 m², listed as a Two-Bedroom House with three beds: a double in the first bedroom, two bunk beds in the second. One private bathroom with a bath or shower, towels, slippers and toilet paper. The whole unit is on the ground floor. Booking.com shows it at four tiles, its own self-rated equivalent of stars.

The entire unit is on the ground floor, so there are no internal stairs.

Sauna, heating, private entrance, soundproofing and parquet floors. Indoors there is a television with streaming, a radio, a games console and video games; outdoors a terrace, a patio, garden furniture, a barbecue and an open fire. WiFi and private parking are both free, and the house is non-smoking.

Self-catering. The kitchenette holds an oven, a hob, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster, kitchenware and cleaning products, with a dining table beside it. No meals are listed, and there is a barbecue outside.

Reine, in Moskenes towards the south-western end of the Lofoten chain. Kartverket puts Bollhaugveien inside the Reine built-up area, around a kilometre from the centre in a straight line, in rural surroundings with mountains behind and the sea in front of the terrace.

Booking.com gives Nusfjord as 40 km away and Værøy Heliport as 43 km. A host answer on the listing puts Leknes airport at about an hour's drive and Evenes at roughly four and a half hours. Private parking is free at the house.
