Why stay here

The cabins sit in the heart of the historic village among the old wharves rather than on a separate site. Sizes run from one-bedroom cabins for two to three-bedroom cabins for six or seven, many with views over Reinefjorden. Guided winter kayak tours on the fjord start from reception.

Things to consider

Breakfast is not included; it is served in Gammelbua from May to September and only as a pre-booked platter in February–April and October. The restaurant page showed 'closed for the season' when checked on 16 September 2026. The three-bedroom apartment has a very steep staircase, and one three-bedroom cabin is flagged as possibly unsuitable for young children.

The accommodation

The site gives 39–40 rorbu cabins, one twin room with bunk bed and one three-bedroom apartment. Categories run from one-bedroom comfort cabins to three-bedroom deluxe sea-view cabins for six or seven; most units have their own kitchen, while two waterfront deluxe cabins and the twin room have none. Cabins have Nespresso machines and down duvets.

    Rorbu in Reine

    Restored early-1900s fishermen's cabins on Olenilsøya, just off the E10 near Sakrisøy, ranging from 15 m² cabins for one or two to two-bedroom cabins and a 120 m² villa. The cabins have their own kitchens and terraces or balconies.
