A cabin in the middle of Reine with a restaurant and bar a short walk from the door, a laundry room, and a choice of eight grades from a single bunk room to an 80 m² three-bedroom cabin facing the fjord.

Travellers who want village-centre rorbu without giving up a restaurant, reception or laundry. Pairs can take the 15 m² bunk room or a one-bedroom cabin; families and groups the two- and three-bedroom grades. It works less well for anyone on a tight budget with a baby, given the nightly cot charge.

A cot costs NOK 800 per child per night and is paid at the property, and there are no extra beds, so a third person cannot simply be added to a cabin. Photo identification and a credit card are asked for at check-in, which closes at 22:00. Quiet hours run from 22:00 to 07:00. Towels and sheets carry an extra fee on some grades, while final cleaning is included. Booking more than five rooms changes the terms. The bunk-bed room and one or two of the smallest deluxe cabins have no kitchen of their own, so check before planning to cook. Pets are not accepted.

The operator's site gives 40 rorbu cabins plus one apartment and one room. Booking.com's eight grades are a 15 m² Bunk Bed Room, a 26 m² One-Bedroom Comfort Rorbu Cabin, a 35 m² One-Bedroom Deluxe Rorbu Cabin with a sea view, a 45 m² Two-Bedroom Comfort Cabin, a 58 m² Two-Bedroom Superior Cabin with a sea view, a 60 m² Two-Bedroom Deluxe Cabin with a sea view, a 70 m² Three-Bedroom Apartment and an 80 m² Three-Bedroom Deluxe Cabin with a sea view. The bedrooms listed hold a large double, a single or a bunk bed apiece, and none is en suite in that breakdown; the guest limits published per bedroom cap some of them at one person, so confirm the party size for the grade you choose.

Free WiFi, free parking for cars (the property has said it cannot take campervans or buses), a restaurant and bar, room service, non-smoking rooms and family rooms. Cabins have a kitchenette with a fridge, kitchenware, kettle and coffee machine, a dining table, a sofa, a fireplace in some grades and a terrace with outdoor dining. Each grade has a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries, a hairdryer, towels and linen. A laundry room is free to guests who bring their own detergent, and the property will book a taxi to the airport if given the flight details.

Gammelbua, the restaurant on site, serves Norwegian cooking with an emphasis on fish, and there is a bar. Special diet menus can be requested and packed lunches are listed. Cabin grades with a kitchenette let you cook instead; the bunk room and one or two of the smallest cabins do not have one.

In Reine itself, in Moskenes municipality, on the shore where Reinefjorden opens out. Kartverket registers Reine as a tettsted and the property sits about 300 metres in a straight line from the centre point this guide uses, so the cabins are among the village's own wharves rather than outside it.

Booking.com gives 7 km as the distance to the Bodø car ferries. The property has said it will book a taxi to the nearest airport for guests who supply the flight details and name the airport. Parking on site is free for cars.
