Groups and families who want one building to themselves and intend to cook. It suits drivers, since parking is free on site and the cabins sit on the E10 side of the bay. Anyone needing a cot, an extra bed or a dog-friendly rule should look elsewhere.

Check-in closes at 22:00 and the property wants your arrival time in advance, so a late ferry needs a message first. Neither cots nor extra beds are offered, which fixes a party to the beds already in the cabin. Bathroom counts differ between units — the property has said one three-bedroom house has three bathrooms and another has one, and that the four-bedroom house has two showers — so ask which one you are being given. Booking.com's own summary lists a microwave while the property, answering a guest, said there is not one. Dogs are not accepted and parties are ruled out.

Across the property Booking.com lists eight bedrooms — mostly large double or double beds, plus one room holding four singles — and two of them have their own bathroom. The per-room guest limits it publishes do not line up with those beds, capping one large double at a single guest, so confirm how many the unit you choose takes before booking for six or eight.

WiFi is free, and so is private parking on site. Each unit holds a kitchenette with a fridge, oven, hob, dishwasher, kitchenware, kettle and coffee machine, a washing machine, drying rack, iron and ironing board, heating and a fan, a fireplace, a private entrance, a flat-screen TV, and a bathroom of its own with a shower and a bath. Outside there is a terrace with dining furniture; the property's own site also mentions a barbecue.

Self-catering. There is no restaurant, bar or breakfast on site, and the cabins are equipped for cooking with an oven, hob, dishwasher and coffee machine. Booking.com's description mentions a microwave, but the property told a guest it does not have one.

Moskenesveien 334 at Andøy, in Moskenes municipality. Kartverket places the spot inside the Reine tettsted, about 700 metres in a straight line from the centre point this guide uses for Reine, so the village and its shop are close but the cabins stand apart from it, facing water and mountains.

Booking.com gives no road or ferry distances for Andøy Vest Rorbuer. It places the property 39 km from Nusfjord and 44 km from Værøy heliport. Parking is free on site.
