Astra Village
Restored fishermen's cabins by the breakwater in Kabelvåg, originally built in 1928 by the Norwegian State Harbour Authority as the 'Statsbuene', now let with private kitchens and bathrooms.
Why stay here
The cabins were built in 1928 as improved lodgings for visiting Lofoten fishermen, several of them partly on piles over the sea, and have kept their historic character. Kabelvåg centre, with a grocery shop and bakery, is about five minutes' walk away, and Svolvær is about seven minutes by car. Each rorbu has a fully equipped kitchen, and the reception can arrange sea eagle safaris, kayaking and guided hikes.
Who it’s for
- Families
