Large families and groups who want to be inside Reine, with enough single beds to split a party sensibly and a shared lounge that belongs only to them. Children five and over pay the adult rate, so it is not the cheapest option for a young family.

Booking.com publishes a maximum of thirteen guests across the twelve beds. Check-in starts at 15:00 with no closing time given, though the house wants your arrival time; check-out is by 11:00. Children of five and over are charged as adults, an extra bed costs NOK 500 per person a night and cots are chargeable too. Pets are not accepted and hen and stag groups are refused. The house is managed by a letting agency rather than an owner on site.

Asked about the Bodø ferry in late December, the management answered that it sails all year but is sometimes cancelled in heavy storms.
