Hikes to the Glåpen lighthouse and the Studalen waterfalls start from the house, and the nearest bus stop is a minute's walk away. The Moskenes ferry dock is 2.5 km away.

The owners market it to travellers who like meeting other guests, to couples and friends in its double and twin rooms, and to retreat groups. The suite, with its own kitchen and bathroom, is aimed at families or groups of four.

Double, twin and single rooms share bathrooms and the kitchen; only the superior rooms and the suite have private bathrooms. Airport and ferry pick-up is offered to retreat guests only. The nearest pharmacy is in Leknes, about an hour's drive.
