The cabins stand on the quays of Lamholmen, surrounded by piers, about 150 to 200 metres from Svolvær's town square, so the town is a short walk while cars can be parked on the island. The main building was a fish factory with a salting plant and barrel-making workshop, and it now houses Restaurant Kjøkkenet and the Bryggebaren bar. Breakfast is included in all rates.

Couples are a stated market, with a romantic weekend package. Two named family rorbuer with bunk beds suit families of up to four, and the three-bedroom rorbu suite sleeps six.

Most rorbu units have two bedrooms with a shared entrance that can be booked singly or together; if you book one, the other stays locked. The bar hosts a weekly music quiz and karaoke on Wednesdays and often live music at weekends, and the restaurant is closed on Sundays.

27 units: rorbu cabins, family rorbuer and suites. A typical rorbu suite has a living room with kitchen area, two double bedrooms each with its own bathroom, and a terrace. Rorbusuite 215 has three double bedrooms on the waterfront; there are also suites and a junior suite in the main building.

Parking on the island, free Wi-Fi in the rorbu suites, and meeting facilities. Reception is open 08:00–23:00.

Restaurant Kjøkkenet serves northern Norwegian food Monday to Saturday, 18:00–22:00. Bryggebaren opens from 16:00 Monday to Saturday and serves simpler dishes, outdoors on the quay in summer.
