Å Rorbuer
Around 20 restored fishermen's cabins in Å at the tip of Moskenesøya, run by Classic Norway Hotels alongside Brygga Restaurant, a lobby bar and rooms in former fish-processing buildings.
Why stay here
Å is often described as the best-preserved fishing village in Lofoten, and most of these cabins date from the early 1900s, when they housed fishermen. Some stand on stilts in the sea. Cabins range from 30 m² one-bedroom units to large three-bedroom cabins for eight, and the Moskenes ferry is 5.3 km away.
Who it’s for
- Families
The two- and three-bedroom cabins are described as suited to families and groups of friends. The rooms with shared bathrooms in Salteriet and above Brygga Restaurant are an option for those who don't need a kitchen.
