Four adults who want quiet and space: two couples, or four friends with a bedroom each. Cyclists and swimmers are catered for, with bicycle hire and the beach next door. It rules out families — children are not accepted — and anyone without a car, with Henningsvær 22 km off.

Children are not accepted, so this is an adults-only house. The stay is paid by bank transfer before arrival, with the property in touch afterwards to explain how. The upper floor is reached by stairs only. Booking.com's rules offer an extra bed for an adult at NOK 500 per person per night and, a line later, say that no extra bed is available, so confirm it if you need one. Arrival is from 17:00 with no closing time given; departure is by 12:00. Quiet hours run from midnight to 07:00, pets are refused and hen or stag groups are not taken. Booking.com holds no guest rating for the house, so there are no reviews to read.

One detached farmhouse of 120 m² on more than one floor; the upper floor is reached by stairs only. Four bedrooms, each with a double bed — two standard doubles, one large double and one extra-large double — and Booking.com allows one guest in each, four in the house, which agrees with Villa Lofoten's own figure. Two living rooms. One private bathroom with a bath, a shower, a hairdryer and towels. Linen is included and the floors are hardwood or parquet.

Air conditioning, a fan, heating, a private entrance, a fireplace, a flat-screen TV, a desk, a wardrobe, board games and books. An iron, a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a drying rack for laundry. Bicycle hire and ski storage are offered. Outside there are a patio, outdoor furniture, an outdoor dining area, a barbecue and a private beach area on a beachfront plot. WiFi and private parking are free and the house is non-smoking.

Self-catering. The kitchen has an oven, a hob, a dishwasher, a fridge, a toaster, a kettle, a coffee machine, a tea and coffee maker, kitchenware and cleaning products, with a dining table. There is a barbecue and an outdoor dining area on the patio. Booking.com lists breakfast in the room; no restaurant or bar is on the site, and groceries can be delivered.

Haverringen 968 at Kvalnes, on the north coast of Vestvågøy in Vestvågøy municipality. Booking.com records the plot as beachfront and lists a private beach area on it, with the setting given as rural; the property says the beach next to the house is public. Henningsvær, the nearest place this guide covers, lies 22.2 km off in a straight line, and Booking.com gives Leknes Airport as 31 km away.
