Rorbu in Henningsvær

Why stay here

It has let cabins since 1982, making it one of the first rorbu operations in Lofoten, and the site was once a working fish station with a saltery, fish drying plant and fish reception. It lies at the very end of the road through Henningsvær, so it is quieter than the harbour centre while staying within the village. Unit sizes run from a two-bed alcove cabin to a four-bedroom suite for eight.

Who it’s for

Self-caterers, anglers and groups. Daily fishing trips leave from the site in summer and small boats can be hired, and the larger three- and four-bedroom suites suit families or friends travelling together.
