Tind Seaside Cabins

Three sizes of self-catering cabin at the quiet end of the Moskenes road, 4 km from the Bodø ferry, with entry by code box at whatever hour you arrive.

Couples, families and groups of up to six who want to cook for themselves at the far end of the archipelago. Anyone wanting fishing gear or a boat should arrange it elsewhere: the cabins do not supply either.

The stated arrival window is 16:00 to 21:00, but the fine print says the cabins are self-service, entered by code box, and puts no limit on the hour of arrival — worth confirming which applies to your booking. Check-out is by 11:00. A refundable NOK 2,000 deposit is taken by credit card on arrival. Quiet hours run from 23:00 to 07:00 and there are no cots or extra beds, with children from 18 charged at the adult rate. Pets cannot stay, and the cabins are not let to hen, stag or similar groups. Tind is a small hamlet: the shops and restaurants are in Sørvågen, Reine and Å.

Three cabins let separately. Tind 6 is 35 m² with a bedroom of two single beds and a sofa bed in the living room, sleeping three. Tind 5 is 50 m² with a bedroom of two single beds and two sofa beds in the living room, sleeping four. Tind 4 is 65 m² with two bedrooms of three single beds each, sleeping six. Every cabin has a private bathroom with a shower and its own kitchen. Booking.com shows the property with 3 stars.

Free WiFi and free private parking. Each cabin has heating, a private entrance, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a hairdryer, a seating area, a sofa, a dining table and a wardrobe, plus a terrace outside. A washing machine and a dishwasher are listed. Bed linen and towels are provided, and the cabins are non-smoking and semi-detached.

Self-catering. Each kitchen has an oven, a hob, a dishwasher, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster, kitchenware and a coffee machine, beside a dining area. No meals are served and no breakfast is offered.

Tind, the hamlet at the southern end of Moskenesøya in Moskenes municipality, beyond Sørvågen on the road towards Å. Kartverket's nearest named settlement is Sørvågen, about 840 m away, and this guide's Sørvågen pages are the closest match for the area.

Booking.com gives Moskenes ferry port, where the Bodø car ferry docks, as 4 km away and Leknes Airport as 65 km. Entry is by code box, so a late ferry does not need a reception to be open.
