Why stay here

Cabins stand around a working fishing cove where the family has traded since 1950 and still produces cod liver oil. It is a large site, but it is laid out as several small clusters rather than one block. Leknes Airport and the Hurtigruten stop at Stamsund are each about 20 minutes away.

Who it’s for

Families and groups who want kitchenette cabins with several bedrooms, and business groups using the conference facilities.

Highlights

  • More than 70 units with up to three bedrooms

Things to consider

Buses are irregular, so the property recommends arriving by car. Pets are not accepted, Wi-Fi can be slow, and one-room stopover cabins have no kitchen and are offered in summer only.

The accommodation

Fishermen's cabins and apartments with up to three bedrooms and six single beds; most bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the living rooms have kitchenettes. One-room cabins without a kitchen are available for short stops. On longer stays, cabins are serviced at three-day intervals.
