Ure Lodge
Renovated rorbuer in Ure, an old fishing village at the mouth of Storfjorden on Vestvågøy, with a restaurant, a floating sauna and a newer boutique hotel operation under the URE name.
Why stay here
Ure was one of Lofoten's larger fishing villages before the Second World War, and the lodge lets eight of its rorbuer at the water's edge. The cabins were refitted with new bathrooms, kitchens and beds. The same owners run a restaurant built around locally farmed salmon, RIB and fishing trips, kayak rental and a salmon-farming visitor centre on site.

Things to consider
Leknes airport is 12 km (about 16 minutes) away and the Stamsund Hurtigruten quay 18 km, so a car is the practical option. The floating sauna is presented as a summer facility, and the hotel rooms and spa have been announced in phases, so check what is open for your dates.
