It puts you on the water in the middle of Henningsvær with a kitchen, a parking space and a bar a few steps along the pier — and with fourteen units of different sizes, a couple and a party of ten can both be accommodated on the same booking.

Almost anyone, which is the point of the range. Couples take the small one-bedroom units; families use the two- and three-bedroom apartments, with free cots and extra beds at NOK 250 a night; a group of ten can take Festvågtind whole. Anyone using a wheelchair should ask for Nubben, which the property names as suitable.

Some apartments are on the first floor and reached by stairs only, which the property confirms on its listing — ask for a ground-floor unit if that matters. Check-in runs from 15:00 to 21:00, earlier than most, with your arrival time sent ahead, and check-out is between 08:00 and 11:00. There is no breakfast. Extra beds cost NOK 250 per person per night and children are charged as adults from the age of six. Pets are refused, quiet hours run from 23:00 to 08:00, and hen and stag groups are not taken. The bar and restaurant keep seasonal hours, so do not count on them out of season.

Two-bedroom units: Varden 35 m² for four, Skrova 45 m² for six, Møysalen 55 m² for six, Kvalvika 75 m² for six. Three-bedroom Unstad is 80 m² for eight, and Festvågtind is 200 m² for ten. Bedrooms across the property hold doubles, large doubles and bunk beds; every unit has its own bathroom with a shower, and towels, linen and a hairdryer are provided. Interconnecting rooms are available and soundproofing is listed.

Each apartment has a kitchen or kitchenette, a seating area with a sofa, a flat-screen TV, a dining table and a private bathroom. A bar and a restaurant are on the quay. Parking is free and on site, and the property answers on its listing that there are electric vehicle chargers. WiFi is free and the apartments are non-smoking.

Self-catering, and the property states on its listing that no breakfast is served and that every apartment has a fully fitted kitchen. A bar and restaurant sit on the pier itself; its own site gives seasonal opening from Wednesday to Sunday, 16:00 to 22:00, so check before relying on it. Henningsvær's other places to eat are a short walk off.
