Apartment in Kleppstad, near Henningsvær

Of the lets strung along the Lyngvær shore this is the one built for a crowd. Booking.com classes it as beachfront, types it as an apartment, and counts eight beds across three bedrooms in 113 m² — two large doubles in each of two rooms, and two doubles with two bunk beds in the third — for a stated maximum of 14 people.

Two bathrooms serve them, one with a hot tub, and there is a sauna as well as a separate additional toilet. The unit is on the ground floor throughout, detached, soundproofed and fitted with air purifiers, with its own entrance.

Outside are a patio, a terrace, garden furniture and an outdoor dining area facing the water, with the garden and mountains behind. Cots are always available free for the under-twos, which is unusual here; extra beds are not.
