Lofoten Stamsund Hostel

It is one of the lower-cost ways to sleep in a rorbu setting in central Lofoten, with a choice of a dorm bed, a private room or a whole cabin. The buildings sit in a sheltered cove with a pier, and hiking routes up Steinetinden and Stamsundheia start from the property. Stamsund is a Hurtigruten and Havila port, so it can be reached without a car.

Backpackers, solo travellers and groups on a budget. The private four-bed rooms and the six-bed cabin are marketed to families and groups of friends.

Private rooms and dorms share toilets and showers in the hallway. The big cabin has its own bathroom; the small cabin has its own toilet, with showers in the main building. Check-in is by 22:00 unless agreed in advance. The Hurtigruten quay is about 1.2 km away, roughly a 20-minute walk.

Dormitory beds with shared facilities; private twin and family rooms for two to five with shared bathrooms and access to shared kitchens; a small cabin with 3–4 beds and its own toilet; a large cabin with two bedrooms, a loft, an open kitchen, a fireplace and its own bathroom, sleeping six.

Shared kitchens, wood-fired sauna, pier, and free activities including fishing, SUP boards, rowing boats and bicycles. The site also advertises a co-working option and car rental.

No restaurant; guests cook in the shared kitchens. A grocery store is a three-minute walk away.

In a small bay at Hartvågen in Stamsund, on Vestvågøy. 150 m from the Hartvågen bus stop on route 18-767 Leknes–Stamsund, 15 km from Leknes airport and 72 km from the Moskenes ferry.
