A family or two couples: three bedrooms, six places, a high chair and separate living rooms make this workable for a group that wants to spread out. Anyone needing a cot should note that none can be added, despite the high chair.

Six people share one bathroom, though there is a second toilet. Upper floors are reached by stairs only. No cot and no extra bed can be added, even though a high chair is provided. Arrival runs from 17:00 to midnight with your time sent ahead, and departure is by 10:00, an hour earlier than most. Pets are not allowed, smoking is not allowed and parties and hen or stag groups are ruled out. The 9.2 score rests on five reviews, so read it as an early signal rather than a settled one.

One detached chalet of 100 m², let whole, with a private entrance. Three bedrooms: a large double bed in two of them and two single beds in the third, four beds in all, two guests to a room. One private bathroom with a bath, a walk-in shower, a toilet and a hairdryer, plus an additional toilet. Bed linen and towels are included, floors are hardwood or parquet, and there are wardrobes, clothes racks and sockets by the beds.

Booking.com records that upper floors are reached by stairs only, and does not describe the chalet as wheelchair accessible.

A washing machine, a tumble dryer, a drying rack and cleaning products cover laundry, and a children's high chair is provided. Outside are a patio, a terrace and a garden, with sea, lake, garden, mountain and landmark views recorded. WiFi and private parking are free and the chalet is non-smoking.

Self-catering. The kitchen holds an oven, a hob, a dishwasher, a microwave, a fridge, a toaster, an electric kettle, a coffee machine, a tea and coffee maker and kitchenware, with a dining table and a high chair. Nothing is served on site; Booking.com puts Lofotenmat Sa 11 km away.

Arvika 26, with a Leknes postal address, at Sandsund on the west coast of Vestvågøy in Vestvågøy municipality. Kartverket's registered point for Sandsund is about 2.2 km from the map pin, and Leknes lies 4.6 km away in a straight line. Booking.com records a rural setting and gives Skomakerstranda beach as 400 m away.
