Adults and families who want quiet and a view rather than a connection — the owner says the signal will not carry a video call. Everyone checking in must be at least 20. Children from four are charged as adults and no cot or extra bed can be added.

Check-in is barred to anyone under 20. The owner's answer on the listing says the reception at the cabin will not support an online meeting, so treat it as off-grid for work. Arrival is from 17:00 to 23:30 and departure by 10:00. No washing machine is listed. The cabin is let to seven, although the beds on the listing come to three, two large doubles and a single, so ask what the rest of a party that size would sleep on. No cot and no extra bed can be added, children from four pay adult rates, and pets, smoking and parties are refused. Quiet hours run from 23:00 to 09:00, upper floors are reached by stairs only, and Booking.com asks that you carry cash for anything extra on site.

One detached chalet of 100 m² with a private entrance: three separate bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which opens off a bedroom. A large double bed in each of the first two bedrooms and a single bed in the third; three beds are credited to the unit against a published maximum of seven guests, with each bedroom capped at one on the room breakdown. The bathrooms hold a bath, a shower, towels and toilet paper, and linen is provided. Upper floors are reached by stairs only.

Booking.com records that the upper floors are reached by stairs only. It does not describe the cabin as wheelchair accessible.

Heating, a private entrance, a seating area with a sofa and a dining table. The bathrooms are private to the chalet, with a bath and a shower. Outside there are a barbecue, a terrace with furniture and an outdoor dining area, looking at the sea, the mountains and what Booking.com calls a landmark view. A clothes rack and a drying rack are listed; no washing machine is. Parking and WiFi are free, and the chalet is non-smoking.

Self-catering, with a kitchen and a kitchenette both listed: a dishwasher, an oven, a hob, a fridge, kitchenware and a tea and coffee maker, a dining table indoors and a barbecue and dining area outside. No breakfast, restaurant or bar comes with the cabin, and Ballstad is 1.7 km off.

Skarsjyveien 145 outside Ballstad, in Vestvågøy municipality, about 1.65 km from the point Kartverket registers for the village and 1.7 km from its centre in a straight line. Booking.com records the setting as rural, with sea and mountain views and fishing and hiking nearby.

Booking.com gives Lofotenmat Sa as 8.3 km from the cabin, Leknes Airport as 11 km and Vestvågøy Rådhus as 11 km, with Nusfjord at 33 km and Borga Radarstasjon at 35 km. Parking on site is free and private.
