Modern Cottage with amazing view

A hot tub and an open-air bath at a cottage for four, on one level, a kilometre above Ballstad with the sea in front of it.

Two couples, or a family of four with older children — nobody under 18 can check in, so an adult has to front the booking, and there is no cot or extra bed. The single-level layout helps anyone who would rather avoid stairs.

No dishwasher is listed. Arrival is 16:00 to midnight, with your time given beforehand, and departure is by 11:00. No cot and no extra bed can be added, pets are not taken, smoking is not allowed, parties are refused and quiet is asked for from 23:00 to 07:00. The 7.7 score rests on three reviews, which is too few to lean on.

Two bedrooms, each with a double bed; two beds are credited to the unit and Booking.com publishes a maximum of four guests. One bathroom holding a hot tub, a spa bath, a bath or shower, a hairdryer, towels and toilet paper; a shared toilet also appears on the facility list. No cot or extra bed is available.

Booking.com records the whole unit as being on the ground floor. It does not describe it as wheelchair accessible.

Self-catering. The kitchen holds an oven, a hob, a microwave, a toaster, a fridge, an electric kettle, a tea and coffee maker and kitchenware, with a dining table indoors and a dining area outside. No dishwasher is listed, and no breakfast, restaurant or bar is provided at the property.

Kræmmervikveien 103 above the Kræmmervika inlet at Ballstad, in Vestvågøy municipality. Kartverket's registered point for Ballstad is about 577 m from the cottage, which is 1.2 km from the village in a straight line. Booking.com records the setting as rural and lists sea, garden and mountain views.

Booking.com gives Lofotenmat Sa as 10 km from the cottage, Vestvågøy Rådhus as 12 km, Leknes Airport as 12 km, Nusfjord as 34 km and Borga Radarstasjon as 36 km. Parking on the site is private and free.
