Do you need to book the Bodø to Moskenes ferry?

Can you take a car on the Bodø–Svolvær express boat?

No. Visit Lofoten notes that the NEX 2 express boat has no vehicle deck; bicycles can be taken, best arranged in advance.

Is there a ferry from Svolvær to Bodø?

Yes, for passengers: the NEX2 express boat links Bodø and Svolvær year-round, calling at places including Skrova and Skutvik. It has no vehicle deck, though bikes can be taken if arranged in advance, and tickets are sold in the Reis and Entur apps. Drivers use the Bodø–Moskenes car ferry instead.
